    Geo Caching??

Just wondering if anyone uses their GPS to geo cache in your area. I know in Central OR there are many of them. Great summer activity.

    RE: Geo Caching??

Not too much here.. we try to find sites of interest spotted on google earth, or even find the weather stations with their sometimes vague coordinates. We haven't run out of those yet, don't need the game....yet

Lots of caching in our area. It's a very fun sport to get the kids involved and trained in the use of GPS units and navigation.

When you are on there next, look me up. I'm "Kilroy_" at

There are tons of caches over here in the Klamath Basin. We have found em on Pelican Butte , Stukel Mtn , Swan Lake , Fort Klamath , Lake of the Woods. The list goes on and on... Good to look for during the summer four wheeling months.
Even found some at Glamis, Oregon dunes and the Idaho dunes..

there are alot around here. we just recently went and found some. it is surprising how much fun it can be.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and
well preserved body, But rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally
          worn out, and loudly proclaiming
          WOW----WHAT----A RIDE!!!
