WHO WE ARE

The Chiloquin Ridge Riders are a small snowmobiling club in the Klamath basin. Klamath lake is one of the west's largest and is surrounded to the east, west and north by snow capped mountains. Almost anywhere we have beautiful views of these mountains and our lake. Thousands of miles of roads and trails are in these mountains, enough are groomed to make a north - south trail system called the diamond lake trail. We have the steepest groomed trail in oregon. We have many open ridges and peaks some demanding caution and inspiring awe such as Pelican. We love to ride and tour visitors when possible.

About the Club

The Chiloquin Ridge Riders keep a good working relationship with the OSSA and Forest Service. We spend many summertime hours keeping our trails and roads to OSSA and ACSA standards. We attend all public Forest Service meetings and functions applicable to us. This paid off recently with the addition of the log snow shelter to our home park, Annie Creek Snow Park. From blading out the ground, paving until the grand opening this has been a 30 year project. It was made possible by partnering with the USFS to submit a grant proposal to the RTP fund in Salem. The Klamath Snow Drifters and the Rogue Snowmobilers partnered with us as well. Special thanks goes to the Winema Fremont USFS , our fellow clubs and the RTP fund. We have several long range goals including a high country "hut to hut " system, a phrase coined by our local ranger. A groomer barn would be nice! We work in the snow on the cat during season now. Almost every summer weekend we hike, ATV or 4x4 our trails and roads..it's too much fun! In the winter we all work together to keep the Tucker going! We take pride in our trails and our grooming program, we are responsible for trails from Annie Creek Snowpark- just north of Pelican Butte to the Diamond Lake Trail. Our trails are also used by tracked ATV's and Dog Sledder's. If this sounds like something you might enjoy our contact information is on this page!
