Have 2 out of 3 of the bolts out to remove the engine on my M8. Problem is getting to the 3rd. Any one know of a trick or am I missing removing something to get to it??? Special tool? Any help would be great.

Engine is out but case is glued well, Trying to see how not to mess things up from prying. Will work on it more tomorrow since it looks as if we will have a snow or weather day.

try and heating it up with a lil blow torch. might work better if you warm it up.

Yes. Thanks though. Haven't been able to try yet but will try the heating thing and see if that gives me some wiggle room. Might not matter, looking at parts it might be cheaper to just buy a new short block.

hopefully you get it running again. nothing worse then having a sled down. if you do end up buying a short block you might be able to get some of your money back on selling the case if its not hurt. good luck!

Bought a used engine to put in it. Got a good price and will refresh the upper end before I put it in. Will sell off the good parts to off set what I put into it but looks like I might get a couple of more years out of her. Now to find a Primary.
