Default XP Riders check grommets in the gas tank!

First ride of the season. Killer Pow! Get to the great spot just in time to see fuel spilling all over the place. The fuel sending unit grommet that goes into the tank was DONE! Lost all my gas all over my brand new pants, augghhh! There was no trail fix!

On the ride back to town decided I was lucky to be going to the parts house instead of the burn unit!

2012 XP 800 miles, only ever clear super ran thru the tank, stored inside!

WOW! That does suck! I hope your next ride will be better... I'm sure there will be more of them.

I had a similar thing happen n my XP. The fuel vent went bad and dumped a ton of fuel into the engine compartment. The vent is on the top/front of the tank and has a tube that runs out under the headlight. It happened a couple of times before I could trace it down.

Sitting on the sled it's left side right behind the airbox.
