Hey Nick, thought maybe you'd left the planet. Went from winter to not in a heartbeat. Talked to some friends and they say the coast is flooded like they have never seen, the lakes are huge this year. Only way to the beach is to drive down to Horsfall all the roads are totally underwater. B's been bugging me to take him over, but think we'll wait at least a couple of weeks for better weather and hopefully some of the water will go down. Been thinking of heading up to the woods with the quad and ride there...

Well after my dog has her puppy's... but I seen pictures of the road to the beach from spin real. Hydroplain across maybe?? Hopefully next month it will dry up. Have you guys ever takin the quads up to johns peak over by Jacksonville?

There are a ton of videos on youtube from there, looks like a great place to ride. Gonna pull out the quads this weekend and get them ready, got a z400 that's been sitting in the garage that I haven't started in about 5 years gonna drain the tank, put in a new battery and hope it'll fire. If not it's carb cleaning time. I hate carbs

All this yard work is killing me! Trying to get it all caught up before it's time to get started on the shop. Should be starting that project here in the next week or so. Hopefully it won't take up most of my summer

Had a great time camping this weekend, must have been the nicest weather EVER for a Memorial Day weekend Had 3 of the grandkids up, those crazy kids even went swimming in the subzero water. Me and B had a great time riding, he went off the road once and in the ditch and bounced off, was soooo funny. Lots of snow still up high, barely made it around the backside of Red Butte. Took the Sunset Saddle over to Hemlock Lake and came across a couple of 100-200 yard long spots that were still 3 feet deep. Made it across a few 50 yarders up at Red Butte that were downhill and there is no way to go back so there was no other way to go but forward. Sport quads are not made for deep snow to say the least, spent some serious time pulling it through the snow by the front bumper a couple feet at a time. The worst part was being swarmed by flying vampires, have about 100 bites for my efforts. Trying to talk the little woman into letting us go again this weekend but B has his final soccer tournament and don't know if she trusts us to come back Saturday morning.
