Looks like there is one by Horseshoe Bend low elevation, one up by Potter Mountain by Staley Creek but it's only at about 3k could be interesting if it gets bigger. Then one out by the Rogue Divide. This one has the highest elevation but is a harder to reach unless you know where to unload...

Thought I was going to get about 40 feet of French drain and another 60 feet of gutter drain dug today. Got the 40 feet of French done but that's is for me for the day Doing it by hand sucks, but at least the gutter drain doesn't have to be anywhere near as deep so I'll save that for during the week. Gravel is supposed to be here on Tuesday or Wednesday, only about 1000 wheel barrel loads to go!!!

As if all the smoke isn't bad enough, now it has to start raining ash! Seems like the forest service plan is to wait until it rains to put the fires out...

Thanks for all your replies, went with the Black Ice. Seemed as good as any of them and has the 15 inch air filled monster mudder tires First purchase of the season and hopefully the last, still haven't even put on my can from last year...

Took Max out for his walk in the rain, so cool. Shorts, long sleeved shirt and a hat, just enjoyed the cool moist air. Puddles and the sound of cars driving through them...

Yo Nick, not ready to start snow dancing yet. Since I spent most of the summer working on the shop I want to get a few weekends in on the quad. Gonna take B to the coast a couple of times and when they get the fires mopped up want to head up that way and see if any new areas will be opened up for this winter! They did say snow at Crater Lake should come in the next couple of days.

Looks like both Crater Lake and Bach got some pow, not bad for the middle of September. Hope this season is as good as last, think we rode fresh pow all but one or 2 weekends!
