Pretty brave. Down low will be scary. Up high should be good. Post report when your done. might have to try it later this week. I have the itch and the only way to scratch it is to ride!!!!!!

Hey BC, heard anything about Medicine Lake road riding? I'm up for a ride if there's enough snow on the roads...

Drove over this morning Duck and pheasant hunting as I knew there would be little snow to get out of the snowpark. Saw around 6 different vehicles with empty trailers. Wished I had gone out but know early season riding usually costs me quite a bit. Holding off till sat after thanks giving hoping these next few day dump more. If not diamond or three lakes will have to do. I guess it is a good time to take the whole family since road riding is what is to be done.

We are gonna go back again the Sun. after Thanksgiving (with family in town that's the best we can do). Road riding is better than no riding at this point! Then 5 days between Christmas and New Years we'll be up again if not before. I am getting antsy early this year.

We went up to Four Mile Lake the last few days just basically staying on the roads/trails. It was actually pretty good and deep up near four mile. We didn't get off as I was with my wife and kid plus not enough snow to really risk it. But I have to say it was pretty good hitting the roads all fresh powder and my wife managed to get stuck twice up at four mile camp ground. It was a few feet deep. So I got to break in my sled and my digging skills...

I passed 4 cross country skiers. I waved to them but apparently their arms didn't work to wave back. Then about .5 of a mile later I picked up a downed tree across the trail. I seen all 4 for the skier tracks and foot prints of them all going over the log.

Ya, cross country skiers are hit and miss.. I have met some that were very polite and cordial while on the road to 4-mile and some that shook their fists at us at Annie Creek.

No accounting for taste, I guess. The ones at Annie Creek must not ride Polaris ;)

Glad to hear the snow is getting deep enough to play! Thanks for the report.

if it is good enough sat we might do a sunday ride also. Have a few mods to dial in before the off trail riding hits.

Went up to top of pelcan butte on sat snow was decent at the top but driftey. Splitter and I met up with some freindly guys on dragons who were kind enough to ride a litttle with and we all went down to the great meadow which had some good powder. We went back up this morning for quick ride and took advantage of about a foot of fresh snow, just enough to get stuck a couple of times. (good times!)

Nice how deep is the snow coverage there at the shelter below Pelican?

Waiting on a good dump so that I can go play in Pelican. Love those big meadows and steep climbs.

Yup it was pretty decent. I wasn't expecting that much snow 3-4 foot. We pretty much tore up that meadow :D
