Today is Saturday and I'm busy cleaning the house, with spring around the corner and will soon we'll have the quads and bikes out thought might be best to do some cleaning around the house before I'm gone again.

What did you do today?

Ran the Pear Blossom and chased the kids around soccer games. Tis that time of year when I really hate the thought that soon I need to summerize the sleds. Although yesterday we were riding 4-8 new.

just worked on the property. first day out side in the last 3 days due to a major poison oak out break. i learned my lesson no more rubbing my eyes or picking my nose oh ya or going to the bathroom while being exposed to poison oak. this was a bad one but the doctor put me on double dose of pretizone and i feel much better. man do i love drugs.

today was an outside day for the wife and I. we pulled weeds and put new bark mulch in all of our flower beds. man I hate that kinda work.

soon all of my free time will be concentrated on working on the backyard, which includes building a deck, finishing the fence, creating a dog run, and getting the grass really nice. this is the last summer I have to work on it before my daughter is up and wanting to run around outside...

the sled will soon be in my garage hopefully. i am going to try and paint it this summer but we shall see what happens.

Seems to be out. Almost done with my little scrape along the leg that ended up on my neck and arms too (darn it and I know better). Prednisone is great. Good thing my doc lets me just call him and have a prescription available when ever I need it. I get it at least 3-4 times a year, work hazard. Get some technue it works great for drying it up once you get the meds started.

Thank God that poison oak doesn't grow above 4000 feet ;)

It is a cleanser for when you are out but also dries the skin up after you get it. Try it.

Now that depends. In my younger years we were on a wildland fire in So. Cal. I swear half the stinking crew had poison oak. We were right around 4000 ft. Up here it gets too cold for it to grow, but Yeah if it is around i will have it.

No riding but we did get some golf in. This time of year is always hard to give up one love for the other. I really like spring riding when we can ride one day and golf the next but family Easter stuff kept us close to home all weekend.

P.S. All this talk of poison oak is making me itch! Last year I had it so bad I landed in the hospital with I.V. steroids and anti-inflammatories. My friend Queen Bee who we ride with works graveyard at the hospital and she didn't even recognize me when my husband brought me in. That stuff is DEADLY to me!

We spent the weekend camping on the coast with family and friends. It was a good time, but I prefer the mountains over the beach on any given day. :) We did the house/yard spring cleaning last weekend.

Sorry to hear about the poison oak. I've never "got" it.....and hope to keep it that way.
