I'm looking for a four place enclosed ride in/out v nose. I'm also looking for a lot of info on which one to get. I've been looking at right around a 26ft that I think would be just right to get 4 long tracks in plus gear in the front. I've been talking to guys at snow parks about what they like and don't and hears what I've got. I should go insulated, I should get a gas/fill station, and I'd like it to have heat like I've seen in several. But what are your thoughts on trailers. I've seen several with spread axles and several with standard close axles. Whats the diff? All I can figure is if it gets on ice the spread axle should track better and not start sliding around but it might be harder to back up if it's slick. I could be off on this and it could just be for load distribution when you only have two sleds in a 4 place trailer? not sure. Also I just want to use it for sleds so I'm planning on putting studded tires on it so I could tow safely and not have to chain up, I want each axle too have e-brakes for the studs to work, any thought on this? I'm open to any advice I can get be I purchase something I wish I wouldn't have.

Spread Axle is for weight distribution, Tires wear faster, Even if you put studs on Oregon law says, if chain required you must run chains on trailer if equipped with brakes.

You will find the spread axles and standard axle no difference in towing.

Fuel station is well ok but there are cheaper ways to get around it. Cans, one of the Blitz 15 gallon fuel stations. Make sure what ever you do get the fuel doors on the drivers side of trailer. That way you can fill sleds and truck at same time. Heater is over rated. You can get a 100 dollar propane heater to put in one and be set. Insulated is a bonus, keeps the condensation down but you still have some. Wet sleds = wet trailer regardless of heater or not. There are some good deals out there so choose wisely. Make sure to get tracks on your floor, super clamps are awesome.
Good luck with your decision.

Thanks for the info so far, I figured as much with the spread axle being for load but didn't think about tire wear, make sence though. The heater idea was in case I go somewhere and the riding is just to good to come home, I could just slep in the trailer so I could ride the next day.
