CHILOQUIN SNOW DRIFTERS is having a playday at Annie Creek Snow Park at the south entrance to Crater Lake.
Playday is Saturday February 9th. There will be a poker run and a radar run for all classes. Trophies will be awarded. Would like to see a great turnout.
the mt jefferson club is having a club ride weekend at diamond lake that weekend. quite a few of us are going down there. I dont really know how far away the two are from eachother but if they are close maybe you will see some of us floating around there.
You guys should post these two events in the Calendar. Just click the link (top right of the page) and choose "add public event". It is super easy and gets all these events in one place for people to see.
We will have to reschedule this event, The park and the trails will not be ready by the 9th. Any objections to the 2nd of March?? This would be the Radar run at Annie Creek.
OK Somebody said Saturday the 1st would work better..
Club vote is Saturday march 1st! Unlimited radar run for top speed trophy, A club trophy returned to the race each year. Poker run, raffles including one for an HMR 17 bull barrelled rifle! All normal OSSA insurance rules apply to the playday and all federal firearms restrictions apply concerning the rifle. There is a special on tickets for rifle of five for $20, until sold out.

The next park south on the diamond lake trail goes to Annie creek but it will take a tank of gas in this snow and there are no services at or near Annie Creek.

I thought about going to that but I'm not sure yet! We will see what happens here next week......
Some are going up tonight and staying the whole weekend for the playday. All trails are groomed up except rock creek - cold springs. Lots of virgin snow trails yet as well. The poker run will be on the west side and the radar run the east side. The big sherriffs trailer will record top speeds. We will tow it from the parking lot just after 8 am. Those going for the trophy top speed will run first, official opening is 10 am but we will start as soon as possible!
