Lake of the Woods snow park CLOSED

The parking area at the meadow at Lake of the Woods has not been plowed and is not accessible. We had a member who went up in their motorhome and had to find a place to turn around and come home.

The highway crew said they would TRY to get it plowed out tomorrow but since there is another storm coming in, they are not sure they will get to it.

There is a possibility that we may cancel the no-host ride on Sunday because of this. Check back later for more details....

Somebody coming to Klamath said they plowed it out monday. Are the trails ready??

I don't know if the Klamath club has gotten to the trails at Lake of the Woods. I do know that the Fish Lake CAT was sent to Thousand Springs to help tow out their broken CAT. Then the roads all closed so it is still at Thousand Springs. So the Fish Lake area has not been groomed.
