Hey it's George here at the resort. It's snowing hard and continuous at the moment 11pm Monday Novermber 3rd.:)
I'll try to keep the current and real time conditions posted here when possible. You can slways check out our website for regular updates also.

Rode the old Pelican trail from the west side road up to Big Meadow, WOW. About two feet of fresh powder with not a track to be seen, and a blue bird day. The base is good, we just need to get it groomed for the fresh powder we are going to get.
When does grooming start this year? I had to work the night of the grooming meeting...

We were up there yesterday and looked as if they groomed a few days ago. However with all of the new snow it really didn't matter. You could only tell by the square shape going down the trails. It packs well as you ride and there is a base just a lot of stuff that needs to be covered before you go off into the trees.

I heard they ran into a problem with the cat at LOW and are using the Fish Lake cat to do both areas. If this is true, the grooming may be hit and miss for a while.
The LOW groomer should be back at LOW by Wednesday. The Fish Lake cat is going to help out with opening some of the trails and maybe opening some of the crossings on the LOW side. The snow is deep up there, I was up yesterday, tried going to Fish Lake from the LOW snowpark. The snow was very deep but not much base. Rocks still rear their ugly heads on some of the trail. Burgers are still AWESOME at Fish Lake!

Yeah, Dan is right about that! What a crazy day..... We did have some fun and I'm sure Dan doesn't want to ride with me anymore LOL. I got stuck several times....... I do have to agree with the AWESOME Burgers @ Fish Lake (Thanks Dan). I do hope that they groomed the trails up there. I'm sure the base is much better then this last Friday.
