View Full Version : South side of Crater Lake Annie Creek Snowpark
We have so much snow they closed the road , we couldn't get to the Cat!! This has to be some kind of record, We have more powder leaving the park than we had on top last year. It might be a few days before anyone can break through into Pelican!!

The snow just keeps coming.....Once everyone digs out there is going to be some great riding. Keep us posted.

Still cant get a crew to the cat 62 closed but under OSSA advise to wait until snow sets up, lots of sno-cats broke trying to keep up. Good riding on local ATV area's!!
Chiloquin will be doing a trial run today, when its too unsettled and deep the cat swims making a trail thats not flat and the 100 gallons of diesel wont be enough to make it to the end and back. running at full power also causes more break downs on these old sno-cats.

How did it go (the trial run)?

I heard that the Cat is broken! Is that true????
The 1000 springs cat has been but is fixed, The klamath cat had a problem, The fish lake cat needed radiator work, The chiloquin cat did their portion of annie creek to diamond lake, The chemult club is to link it sunday to diamond. Most loops west of annie creek are done, goose nest and 3 mile-liars. Annie to pelican tower monday weather permitting.

The Thousand Spring cat has been running for a week now as well as the Fish Lake cat. Knock on wood that they stay that way!!
I'll knock on anything if they stay that way! We haven't had a problem until yesterday since the track came off inbetween storms first of jan. One of the bogies threw plastic yesterday but we carry a spare. It dosn't pay to push these old things in deep snow!
