So I went and looked at sled yesterday, it is a 07 rmk 600 with a 800 VES motor swapped in. Is there anything I should look for? The chassis has high miles but the motor is a fresh rebuild from the crank up. It has a Timbersled Mtn Tamer rear and Ryde FX front with Simmons skis. The hood, front belly pan and both fenders would need to be replaced to make it cosmetically right. What is a fair price for a sled like this? I'm tempted, but I worry about the resale.

I'm coming off of a 05 M6 with 800 BB and I really liked that sled. Do you feel like I would be making a upgrade by switching or would it be more pretty equal sleds. I ride a lot of steep, tight woods and the occasional big hill climb. Mainly Mt. Bachelor and Bailey. I've also been looking at some M1000's.

I'm not real familiar with Polaris so any help would be great.

I believe that this would be an upgrade for you, especially when you take into account that it has the Timbersled skid. Those things just flat work. The motor is nothing to worry about especially if the big bearing upgrade has been done. If this was a crank up rebuild, I would venture to guess that it has been.
Fastrax Motorsports sells an '09 front end kit that replaces both fenders with the newer style. Not a bad price if I recall.

What's it worth? I would say somewhere around $3500 - $4000.
