For all of those that are still contemplating putting up their sleds there is still a ton on snow on top of the mountains. Rode around Lake of the Woods and then over to Brown mountain. Excellent ride every where. Snow is made for climbing and Boondocking around the mountain tops. Still another couple of weeks left at least.
Enjoy.

I rode Thousand Springs yesterday and there is still a couple of feet of snow at the parking area (elevation is approx 4440 feet). Made a quick stop on the top of Huckleberry to see if the snow pole is showing. We dug a couple of inches down and found the top of the snowpole so there is still 12 feet of snow up top. It was great riding. Plan to continue until June.....

Where are you going in at? How much snow is left on the low elevation trails? I hate riding in the 'snirt'...

Annie creek, later we will boondock it out of canyons that hold snow to high elevations. We will have rideable snow AFTER fire season starts!!

We parked at the west side road of LOW. Rode Brown mountain trail to resort trail. a couple of dry spots but easily manuvered around on snow. When you come to the Lava Flows also know as open snow fields take off up mountain. Tons of open space to boondock around in up and down swailes and ridges.
Enjoy. I think we might ride annie creek on sunday.

Thanks for the info. Last time I was on Brown was April 24, there was plenty of snow up high. We also went toward 4 mile, measured the snow in the meadow to the right just before the lake and there was 7 feet of snow in the meadow. Sure has been an AWESOME year for snow.
