View Full Version : Sway bar or No Sway bar, the eternal question.
The problem with this question is that you either have a sway bar or you don't, there is no happy median. Now you have the ability to make this decision on the trail or in the backcountry any time you would like. The first sway bar disconnect kit for the 09 Polaris Dragon and all Pro chassis sleds is now available for $49.95 plus shipping. This kit includes a new lower end link retaining pin, mount that holds the sway bar end link out of the way of the suspension, and it can be installed in 10 minutes or less in your garage or shop with normal hand tools and no permanent modification to your sway bar or suspension components. I am currently accepting pre-orders for delivery in October. They will also be available at snow shows across the western states starting in Denver.

Must have better picture... (w/manly grunt, snort)
Will it also fit the 09 RMK?
Will it also fit the 09 RMK?
Unfortunately no. 09' Dragon and all Pro chassis only.
I have updated the price on these kits to $49.95 plus shipping for any member of this forum.
I ran this kit all season last year and absolutely loved being able to run my sway bar on the trail rides in and back out. The rides in the backcountry without my sway bar were phenomenal.

We need a much better picture, so, we see what we would be buying.
Thanks
I was in Eugene this weekend, and I thought I saw a Dragon that I recognized. I walked over to check it out, and there was a sweet swaybar disconnect system on it. From what I have seen of the design, it is well thought out and simple at the same time. It also addresses one of the major gripes I have with other disconnects that I have used on the XP. If you want the ability to go swaybar or swaybarless on the Dragon and Pro platform, this will be the accessory to have. I think Tedd is working on some logistics, and I am sure he will post more info and pictures soon.
I was going to take a picture, but as soon as I reached for my camera a bunch of ninjas screaming "Terrain Domination" appeared from nowhere. Don't worry, I was able to take them on single-handedly, but my camera fell down a storm drain during the epic battle.
ninjas screaming "Terrain Domination LOL
Thanks for the post Ben......
Logistics, that seems to be an understated word for this whole process. Ordering and receiving parts, return incorrect parts, ordering the correct parts, building kits, writing installation instructions, company logos, the list goes on......
In regards to pictures, I will have some more available shortly. Once i get a few more things in order. Otherwise, if you are very interested in one of these kits please get a hold of me at teddunlimited@centurytel.net or on this forum and I will try and get you any information you need.
Thanks for your patience.
Now that I have made more progress on patent and copyright filing, I thought I would provide some more pictures of the kit. Please let me know if you have any questions. You can also find more information and updates on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/TeddUnlimited.

We are headed out to the Rocky Mountain Snowmobile Expo in Denver Colorado on Friday morning with Sway Bar Quick Disconnect kits and the hope of meeting up with some new people as well as starting the snow show season. We will then be at the WSSA Snow Show in Puyallup Washington the following weekend. If you are attending either of these shows, please stop by and say hello at the 2Cool AirVents booth at both shows.
