Its open..... They groomed it last Thursday the 10th of April! I rode up there on the 12th of April. We did go the 7th of April and it wasn't. We cut through the drifts to get to the top. Well worth the view.

I think we will go snowmobiling Friday at LOW (wonder how much snow is at LOW?), might try to make it up Pelican but not sure. This may be our last ride of the season.
I am the wagonmaster of our RV club and need to start thinking about four wheels instead of a track and two skis, ha. I hope the forum keeps going during the summer, I will check in and see what's going on. Ben has done a great job with the forum, I hope he keeps it interesting during the Summer, I will check in while RVing (usually WiFi at a lot of the parks) and see what's going on.

I was at LOW on Sunday. The snow is disappearing fast at the lake level (around the parking lot and in the tree wells) but once you rise in elevation, there is still plenty of snow.

If you are going to Pelican park in the North side snow park and not at the meadow parking lot. The North access trail crossing 140 is pure dirt and messy for several hundred yards. If you park at meadow parking ride west to low and then cross at 4 mile trail and take the east access 4 mile trail towards pelican for more snow and little to no dirt.
Enjoy we are going up today also.

Thanks Snowlover & sildoc
I will park across the street and to the right from the Great Meadows at the north snow park (I presume that's the north park). I will report how it goes, hope the trail is open to the top.

Thanks, I made it to the top, it was a little wind blown and some drifts but no problems on getting up there. My friend did not go up with me, he is a new rider and is a little afraid of heights.
I will attach a few pictures, nothing great, just some still shots. I met sildoc on the trail today, he has a nice family who all enjoy snowmobiling, I was impressed by his kids and how they enjoyed the ride.

What a beautiful day it was yesterday. good riding for it being middle of April. Was a pleasure meeting you Phazer_07. Kids and wife enjoyed the views up top Pelican. Then a nice lunch at Cold Springs trail head and a nice nap for the youngest. see pic.
With the weather the way it is we might end up riding till june.

That is adorable!!!
Cute pic, one tired little one! I remember those days. They grow up VERY quickly!! Came across 140 from Medford to Kfalls today, was snowing hard, lots of new roadside snow, everything was white. We may be riding a bit longer! Darn!!
