What a killer day of riding. We started 3/4 of a mile in from HWY 140 on West Side Road.
We took the trail that goes to the Top of Pelican. It is groomed to the top. Took some pics and drop off the front side of Pelican (south Side) and played in the clearings.
Then we went up to the top of Car Hood Hill and droped into the Bowl of Pelican. 3 Guys showed up after we had been there for 45 min and had lunch. Exited out the Northeast side around 76. Stopped off at Wine Bottle for some pics and took off to Car Hill Hood again and came back down. Took more pics. Did a lot of playing around before we loaded up.
Now its time to tear into the 600 and fix it for next season so the Wife can ride it!!!! Enjoy the pictures...

Yup, that would have been me then, "the guy with the blue 700"! I think he drop in @ Pelican Butte Rd. I dont know John but it must have been the guy that I talked to then. I take it that one of the guys was his son? They rode RMK's I do believe.
How's the Snow near Annie Creak??? I know the snow wont last long @ Pelican with all this worm weather LOL.....

John Briggs is the groomer chairman for Chiloquin..Pelican is the border and kind of a shared area. Eric was there and probably Cathy, Johns wife. Snow is still good out of Annie creek, knowing where to go is the key..where the logging was done for us off trail folks, for trails call John, his phone number is on our H2 web page..click the link on my signature. I am supposed to groom pinnacles thursday..hope there is enough snow!! I was riding Swan lake all last weekend..it's only 10 or 15 minutes from town.
