Last weeks storms dumped 2-3 feet of fresh light snow up high. The riding last week end was as good as it gets. Ran 38 miles and had to return for fuel. This has been a bonus year for this area. Every time we say this has to be the last big storm.....in come another one. Keep them coming.

Trail grooming is done for the year so be ready for rough trails....however it's worth the trip. Still lots of un-tracked snow left to get stuck in.

Have Fun

"The riding last week end was as good as it gets" sez dlynn, and I would have to second that. "Spring Break" here apparently means Spring takes a break, and Winter gives us another hit.

Granted, the dump wasn't 5% moisture powder, but any lack of quality was adequately compensated for with quantity, especially up high. Meadows and selective-cut units were awesome, mostly untracked (where is everybody?) and the foot plus more of new-fall snow was really grabby. You just about couldn't get stuck***.

(***your results may vary--mine did !!!)

Some of the best winter riding I've ever had was yesterday, March 30th, and the day before--Despite the fact that tomorrow is April.
