Not a lot of snow to go ride yet. Started to ride up the North Face and the rocks are just below the surface. I would give it another foot or 2 of snow before you ride it. Otherwise your asking for trouble! JMHO

We rode out of Lake of the Woods on the 24th and went to Pelican instead. Brown Mountain did look a little rocky still. Even on Pelican they were still poking out a bit. Pretty good day although some more snow would be nice up there. After last night I think it would be pretty good.

At the pole at the bottom of the trail going to up Pelican it was about 3'. The meadow was a little sad, and you could even see water where tracks went through. After last night and today I bet its a lot better. I seen tracks through the field from LOW and past the sledding hill but not groomed.

Pelican was [I]much[B] better then Brown. We rode Pelican this last Sunday (26th of Dec). I hope to ride Brown this year for sure! Time is on our side right now. I would hope by the end of the week, it will be better!

Lets all pray for big snow this week. I haven't been able to ride the area for about 7 years, and I'm all pumped up to ride in deep powder. Thinking about seeing the new year in at the top of Pelican!!!
