well we had two days of fun riding in Halfway OR. There was about 2-3 ft of deep awesome powder in places. We rode out to Fishlake on Saturday and the guys played on the hill while the rest of us practiced on our carving and just played around. From there we headed to the cabin, as you can see in the picture that you pretty much had to slide or crawled in. We built a fire and had lunch there. Then we climb onto table top and rode it across in the fog & snow, there was at times you couldn't see no more than 10 ft in front of you and by the time we had to drop down back into the trees it was flat snowing. WOO HOO!! Sunday was the same we played and played, and I was able to get a few opps shots of some of our friends. Enjoy the pictures.

Great pictures!!! Looks like you had great snow and a couple great rides. Looks like in a few of those hill pictures someone might have ended up with a broken sled??? Everyone come out ok? Thanks for sharing :)

No broken sleds, one of the sleds got stuck halfway up the hill behind some trees, that's why the picture looks funny, zoomed way up the hill. The only injuries we had was me and another gal. I was carving out in a open meadow looking to my right and all of a sudden my sled dropped (waterhole) I slammed my left leg into my handlebar and now i have this huge bruise on my thigh (ouch), but it didn't stop me from playing, bucked up and went on. The other was as you can see in the last picture Ellen wanted to drop off a cornice, but as she went off she let up on the throttle (a no no) so she did a nose dive instead and slammed her knees into the sled. She was lucky for the sled could of flipped over onto her.
Halfway is probably my most favorite place to ride. You have the hills, cornices, open meadows, small rolling hills, and lots of boondocking areas too. You can play in one area all play and never get to bored from it.
The weather plays a big roll there, it can be nice in town and snowing like a dog up on top or have you fogged in. I have found that if the town is fogged in, chances are it'll be nice on top.
