Anyone been to Medicine lake? Snow reports? Our group is planning to head down there on day soon. Just wonder what its like.

Its been low on snow but we have had a massive dump this last couple days, now we need powder sleds to break the trails until the groomer gets through! Door knob, four corners and deer mt. should all be great!

Yea the last couple days and looks like tomorrow (sat) as well should make for some awsome riding. We all have mountain sleds and try to avoid groomed trails anyway. Never been to deer mt. but hope to get down there this year, have to find a place to stay and make it a 2 day trip.
The best bowl down there is Ash creek butte, easiest to reach from Deer Mt park..Get a Map , it is fun to cross country all the way there but easy to get lost or side tracked in all the great stuff around there. First time take the groomed trail to save gas then spend the day going around ash creek and all its sides ridges and bowls.

Thanks for the info Movin...Look forward to a trip down there this year. Could you suggest a place to stay overnite? I guess ether Weed or Shasta somewhere is where most stay.
I have never overnighted down there but believe most stay at Shasta, A lot of motorhomes stay at the Park, mostly in march and april.
