Hey Ben, yep....the Sumpter Poker Run has a $3,000 guaranteed purse again this year and it's a lot of fun! There are so many door prizes at the awards ceremony that it takes over an hour to get through it! All the merchants in Sumpter and all over Baker County donate great door prizes! How much is the grand prize?
It all depends on how many sign up...not sure how the formula works but I know the top 5 hands win cash! Then there are fun prizes for wrecks, etc. The poker run is so much fun, we have a lot of folks who don't even ride who join in...you don't have to ride to buy in, even kids are allowed to buy a card and play and we had a 6 year old a while back when a good chunk of change!
