It's quiet in here....you must be snowmobiling!

Not much activity on the forums in the last couple of days....is everyone snowmobiling and enjoying all that new powder?? If so, where did you go and how was it?

I just got back about an hour ago from Thousand Spring (near Crater Lake for those of you not from this area). We had our Candlelighters ride today. We had a pretty good turnout considering the weather. We were expecting about 50 Candlelighter adults and kids and about 25-30 showed up.

After most of the kids had left, we went out for a ride. There must have been at least two feet of new snow up top. Our 12 foot snow pole that had 11 feet of snow last week is now totally covered. I managed not to crash or get stuck this time so I call that a very successful trip. But I am beat now and ready for BED!!

In the picture below on the right side of the sleigh is a big hump of snow....that's our shelter!!

This my brother Robert excited that the sled rolled back on the tracks, he was on Jim's sled. He tried making it up the hill but got to close to the tree on left.

Looks like a great ride, with good snow conditions. Cant beat a good day of riding with friends. Hope that guys sled was ok... Thanks for sharing!
