I just walked in the door from a trip around Bachelor.
We rode out of Wanoga and headed out to Elk Lake for lunch. After lunch we backtracked a little and rode around Tumalo to Moon Mountain.
The trails have seen some traffic, but they are grooming. Wanoga to Dutchman was not too bad, better than a lot of times. Dutchman to Elk was pretty rough, but the groomer was hitting it on the way out.
Dutchman to Moon was AWESOME!! The trail was not bad, but there is 12" of new on top of a settled base. You can hit the bowls and glades all the way out. Super fun. Moon was pretty cool, it is not all tracked up yet.
Moon out towards Wanoga was pretty torn up. However, the club does a great job and I am sure it will all be back into shape soon.
If you have a Garmin GPS there is a track file for the Bachelor area over in the GPS section.
Have fun!

Nothing in the last week or so. Last week the trails were good. Groomers did a real good job. Had about 35" or so at 10 mile sno-park. Still could find some untouched spots if you got off the beaten path. Went out today and it looks like paulina got a nice dusting of snow. Cant be sure of how much yet, might head up there in the next day or so.

Went out of 6 mile Sat Mar 1. The trail from there is getting down to dirt and rocks in some places. By the time you get to Paulina it's good though. Went around East Lake and Paulina to the north. Some new snow, about 4 inches, trail in good shape mostly, bumpy in some places. Windy and stinging sleet on the east side, wifey getting a little whiny, but a good ride nonetheless. Will try to upload my GPS track later.
