H2Oregon has been up and running for 1 month today. I thought I would give a quick update.

I want to thank everyone for the outstanding support. We have 77 registered members as of this posting, and the logs show between 150 and 200 visitors a day.

H2Oregon has had 509 posts in 123 threads. By comparison, the largest out-of-state forum with an Oregon section has had 338 posts during the same time period. Given that H2Oregon started with nothing, and the other forum had established threads, this is pretty cool.

If you have found the forum interesting and informative, share it with your friends, clubs, etc. Let them know we are the only true Oregon snowmobile forum, and the one with the most activity. If you haven’t found the site interesting, let me know and we’ll see what we can do to fix that.

I would also like to continue working with the clubs and other organizations. If you belong to a club and are interested in sharing the site with them, let me know and I can get you some information.

I am continuing to attempt to work with Vendors to get stuff for you all to try out, win, etc. If you have any suggestions, or hook-ups, let me know. My thought is that we give those that support the forum and its members some ad-hoc advertising in the way of posts and/or reviews.

Again, thanks for all your support. Keep sharing the site with others, grab a sticker and put it on your sled, rig, etc. and let me know if you have any ideas.

Happy birthday to UUUU!!!
Clubs represent less than 25% of the users in a demographic area, some of the rest use another medium to advertise or communicate. Just be here!!
OK..what does it take to get the logo in a club news letter??

That is great news! Seems you are off to a good start!! We just need a way to encourage those lurkers to join in. It's fun and we don't bite! :)

Ben congratulations on your one month anniversary!

I think you have a hit, I think that a State specific forum is a great way to get to know our own area even better. I think you should have a photo contest where you post a picture and the forum users try to guess what or where it is. Simple rules like it has to be taken from a groomed snowmobile trail. This keeps it in the realm of possibility that someone may have seen it before or can actually solve it. Reader submissions maybe not but you could have a selct group of registered forum users help you select it or submit ideas.
Just a thought before I head out for work.

Ben, You have done one hell of a job! It is a great way to find out about other areas here in the state of Oregon to go ride. I do feel blessed on having some of the best places to ride in the world and this forum! Thanks Ben for your time and efforts.........
