The Thousand Spring CAT is back from Tucker and they resumed grooming the trails on Monday. Currently, only the Huckleberry Loop route has been groomed.

I rode up at Thousand Springs on Sunday and the trails were in bad condition as they haven't been touched since the big storm closed the highways. Hopefully it won't take to long to get them back in shape!

I understand that they have groomed the Huckleberry Mtn loop, the 60 road and are working on Rock Top. It's taking some time to knock down all those drifts....

Went to Thousand Spring today. The trails are in much better shape now that the cat is working. Went off trail quite a bit and had so much fun. Thousand has lots of play areas and hill climbs for every level of rider. Also took the Pipe Line trail which has not been groomed yet this year. We didn't have much trouble with it and it was a fun loop. There was probably at least six inches of new snow. Sunny morning and then the storm started blowing in. We loaded up at about 4:00 and it was just starting to snow.

These small storm systems seem to be missing us. I don't think we have seen more than a trace in C.O.

We are just catching the edge of these small storms. Enough for a few inches to a foot of new powder depending on elevation.
