Rode the Bachelor area on New Years day. You can definitely tell that they received a fair amount of snow, some rain, and some more snow. There is good coverage, and a great base, but the fresh it is 18-24+ inches of cement. It was fun to play in, but definitely more work.
It looks like the forecast is for continued snow, but also warmer temps. I hope the predictions are wrong, but I don't see how a forecast of snow with a high of 39-41 degrees looks too promising.
The Bachelor area kind of dodged a bullet with the New Years storm, as it is probably just high enough to not have lost snow to rain. I think it really only rained for a few hours on the 31st and started snowing again in the evening. As Dutchman was packed, we rode out of Wanoga/Ellis and coverage was good.
